Transportation to Airport from Liege City Center

Liege Airport

You can take one of the public transport buses that leave from the centre to reach Liege Airport. There are also shuttle buses that are part of airport provided services. You can take a taxi or rent a car for quicker and more comfortable transport. Some hotels, and other places for accommodation, offer airport services for their customers.

Car Rental

Even though there is only Hertz and Europcar at the airport, there are plenty of other rental agencies at the center and you can leave the cars you rent from these companies at the airport. You can reach the airport by following road signs for the airport once you’ve taken the E25 highway from the centre. The journey takes 15 minutes in normal conditions.

Taxi

It’s always possible to find a taxi in central Liege. It takes approximately 15 minutes to the airport by taxi.

Shuttle Bus

There are shuttle bus services going to the airport. The price of a ticket for one person is 5 euro. You need to make a reservation 5 days before to take advantage of this service. If you don’t make a prior reservation before 5 days then the price of the ticket increases to 7 euro. You can request a private service for groups of up to 6 for a more comfortable and personal experience. In this case the cost is 20 euro. Bus

If you are going to the airport from the centre then you need to take bus line 53. If you need to go from a different part of the city then you can go to the main train station and then take the bus line TEC-57 and get to the airport within 25 minutes. The bus line TEC-57 doesn’t operate during weekends and official holidays. A one-way ticket for adult in Liege for the bus costs 2.10 euro.

Liege Airport is approximately 10km from the city centre. There are many chartered flights coming to this airport, including increased flights for specific time periods. Liege Airport is in the top 10 for cargo flights. At the airport there are a few stores that sell different items, duty free stores, a restaurant, and a café. Transportation to Cadiz City Center from Airport

Cadiz Airport

There is no airport in Cadiz, which is a port city. While the closest airport is Jerez Airport, Sevilla International airport is preferred as it has more inbound flights.

If your plane is landing at Jerez Airport, the airport is around 45 km away from Cadiz. It’s possible to get to the city by taxi but this would cost you 50 euros. It's possible to reach Cadiz in 30 minutes under normal traffic conditions by renting a car and following the A4 highway. You can easily find car rental agencies in the baggage claim area. The cost of the car may depend on the type, size, and extra features of the car, but it’s possible to rent a car per day for 11 euro. You can also reach Cadiz by taking the train from the station to the west of Jerez Airport. The journey takes 46 minutes.

There are also shuttle buses going from the airport directly to Cadiz. If the prices of these shuttle buses seem to high for you, then you can take this or the taxi to the city centre, and then continue by public bus services once you are there. The total travelling time can go up to 1 hour.  

If you decide to reach Cadiz through Sevilla International Airport, then the most comfortable and practical alternative is to rent a car. You can find car rental agency desks in the ground floor of the main terminal. If you take the AP4 or A4 road you should reach Cadiz in about an hour and a half. There is a train station quite close to Sevilla International Airport. By using the free services from the airport, you can reach this station and from here take a train going to Cadiz. There are frequent departure times from this station and the journey takes approximately 2 and a half hours. Buses going to Cadiz don’t leave from the airport but you can take a bus or taxi to the city centre and take a bus going to Cadiz from there. The journey by bus to Cadiz from Sevilla city centre takes around 2 hours. You can get to central Sevilla for 30 euro by taxi or 4 euro by bus.

When planning your journey you shouldn’t forget that taxi fares are higher during the weekends in Spain, and that they charge extra for each of your luggage items. You will also need an internationally recognised drivers licence to rent a car.
