In addition to the largest city, Cardiff, others include Newport, Swansea, Bangor, St Asaph, and St David's. Wales has transitioned from being primarily an agricultural nation in the past to an industrial nation today, though unemployment rates remain high nationwide. Both English and Welsh are spoken in the country.
Wales experiences a temperate oceanic climate with high humidity levels throughout the year, resulting in year-round rainfall. Winter snowfall can be significant, while summers are not excessively hot. The country's transportation infrastructure is primarily by train or bus, offering easy access to other United Kingdom countries. The currency is the British Pound Sterling.
