Sarajevo International Airport offers transportation to the city center via the highway.
There are two different transportation alternatives you can choose from to get to the city center from Sarajevo International Airport. The airport is located 9 km from the city center so transportation to and from the city is quite convenient. Taxi
Taxis are a convenient and quick transportation alternative to get to the city center from the airport. Taxis are readily available next to Terminal B at Sarajevo International Airport. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center from the airport by taxi. Taxis are a more expensive transportation alternative but since the distance between the airport and city center is relatively short, the total trip won’t cost too much.
Rental Car
Another transportation alternative to get to the city center from the airport is by rental car. There are many rental car offices located at Sarajevo International Airport. The drive from the airport to the city center is quick and convenient.
