Transportation to Airport from New York City Center

There are many transportations methods available to get from the city center to the airport. No matter where you are in New York City you have access to the metro. Take the metro to Jamaica Station or Howard Beach Station, both of which are close to the airport; from there you can get on the AirTrain line and take it all the way to JFK.
To get from Lower Manhattan or Brooklyn to JFK you can take metro line A to Howard Beach Station. Then get on the AirTrain, which provides transportation to the terminals. To get from Manhattan to JFK you can take metro line E or the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) train. Newark Liberty Intl. Airport
From Penn Station, one of the city’s major stations located in central Manhattan, you can get to Newark Liberty Airport Station in about 30 minutes by taking the NJ Transit train or the Amtrak train. From this station you need to get on the AirTrain trains, which depart every 3 minutes and get to the airport terminals in about 10 minutes.
