Transportation to Airport from Luanda City Center
Quatro de Fevereiro Airport
You can take a taxi to from Luanda city center to go to the Quatro de Fevereiro Airport. If you prefer a cheaper transportation vehicle, there are several different buses operated by both state and private companies. Renting a car is another alternative.
Car Rental
In the city center you can find both world-renowned and local companies. You should remember that renting a car in Luanda is more expensive than usual. In general, the daily cost of a standard car rental starts at 330 Turkish liras. You can reach the Quatro de Fevereiro Airport in about 30 minutes by connecting to the Deolinda Rodrigues Road, following the airport signs, with the car you rent.
Taxi
You will not have any problems finding a taxi in the city center. Almost every taxi can be paid in US dollars as well as Kwanza, the local currency. It takes less than half an hour to reach the airport by taxi from the city center under normal conditions.

You must remember that you must have an international driver's license to drive abroad. If you do not want to compromise your comfort during your travel, but if your driver's license is not valid abroad, you can rent the car with a driver. You must follow the Ring Road to get to the city center by car. The journey lasts an average of 15 minutes.
