Transportation to Airport from Kathmandu City Center

To reach Tribhuvan International Airport from Kathmandu city center, you can rent a taxi or use the airport shuttle service. Airport Information
Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport from where Kathmandu’s, as well as whole Nepal's international flights are made. KLIA is located about 45 km from the city center and offers passengers a variety of transportation methods to get to the city. Each one of these methods of transportation offer their own advantages. From KLIA you can get to the city center by taxi, bus, train, or rental car.

One of the fastest ways to get to the city center from KLIA is by taxi. Taxis are located at the airport terminal building and licensed and operated by the Airport Limo Company. Taxis are an easy transportation alternative to get to the city center. Bus

You can use the Express Rail Link (ERL) trains to get to the city center from KLIA. Today Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport serves general aviation and turboprop flights. The airport is used for charter flights and domestic and international turboprop flights. Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport is located about 30 km from the Kuala Lumpur city center.
