Transportation to Airport from Belize City City Center

The distance between Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport, the single biggest airport of Belize, which is located in a geography remaining from the Maya Civilization in Central America, and the city center of Belize City is approximately 15 kilometers. You can go to the airport from the city center by taking a taxi or airport shuttle, renting a car or making use of economical bus transfers.

Taxi

Even though Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport is close to the city center, there is no public transportation network connecting the spots to each other. Goldson International Airport is named after a famous politician of the country, who died in 2001.  You can reach the airport, which is located approximately 15 kilometers far from Belize City in Ladyville, in 30 minutes with a car.

The altitude of the airport is 5 meters higher than the city, and it is the busiest region of this small Central American country.
