Transportation to Airport from Dar Es Salaam City Center
Julius Nyerere Intl. Airport
Located in the east of Tanzania, Dar Es Salaam is one of the largest cities in the country. For exploring this city on the shores of ocean, you can start with the city center first. You can get to Yenikapı by metro which you can take from the airport and you can easily reach to the center by transferring to Bandırma ferries here. Taxis can be an alternative for this trip, but taking a taxi would be costly because of the distance between.

Metro
In order to continue your journey towards Bandırma after you arrive at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, you must first transfer to the metro, which has a direct connection with the airport terminal. You can reach Yenikapı by the M1 metro passing through the airport. You can get to the Bandırma Ferry Pier by taking the fast ferries from here. You can also get detailed information about the average fare by talking to the taxis waiting for you at terminal exit. There are also taxis at the airport for which you can pay by credit card. If you want to make a payment by card, you can specify this preference before boarding the taxi. Once you arrive at the Yenikapı port by taxi, you can take to the ferries here.
Fast Ferry
Once you reach the Yenikapı from the airport with the metro, you can transfer to Bandırma ferries here. Bandırma ferryboats, carrying their passengers to Bandırma, depart from Yenikapı every day at 07:00 and 18:30. You can get on the ferry at 7 am with your car.
