How baggage is stored on the plane?
After the check-in, your baggage goes off on a conveyor belt. In a selected area baggage is sorted via optical readers according to the baggage tags, to be distributed to the destination of each flight. For example, baggage for a Paris flight is sent to the relevant section for a Paris flight and the baggage of a Lisbon flight is sent to the relevant section for the Lisbon flight of the selected airlines. In this way, the baggage of passengers traveling to the same destination is collected at the same point. Checked baggage is stored in trailers or containers by the related personnel. Afterward, the personnel takes the baggage to the plane. In this way, the checked baggage of the passengers reaches to aircraft’s baggage compartment.
